The clothing of a Novice

Br. John came back from his family visit and vacation in Indiana. Br. Josép completed his retreat at Monasterio Santo Domingo de Silos, near Burgos, Spain, and is making his way to Rome for his three-month formation as a monastic formator. Br. Luc came home after his three-month visit to our Brothers at St Benedict Priory, in Hermanus, South Africa. Daniel Beckham came back from his three-day pre-clothing retreat at Linwood Spiritual Center in Rhinebeck, NY.

On Friday, at Vespers, Daniel Beckham was clothed as a novice in the Order of the Holy Cross. Br. Daniel looks like a natural in his white tunic and scapular.

On Saturday, we had a snow storm. Is this the last throes of Old Man Winter? One lives in hope.

Please pray for Br. Daniel's in his continuing monastic life. Lenten blessings to you.
