A quiet summer week

Br. Timothy is back from his tour with Love Must Act to support and publicize their work with Holy Cross School in Makhanda, South Africa. You can often meet him in the Monk's Cell Bookstore where his genial style does wonders to sales 😀.

This coming Monday will see the departure of one of our two monastic interns. Clay Wackerman, from Connecticut. Clay will have been with us for 9 months. In August, he will start studying for a MDiv at Harvard Divinity School.

This Sunday, he got to preach on a challenging gospel reading and did very well. You can find his sermon on our Holy Cross Sermons blog. It has been a joy to get to know him better. We thank him for all his contributions to our community life. We wish him godspeed.

Robb Benson-Ernst, from Minnesota, continues his internship with us.

Other than that, the hydrangeas continue to bloom profusely. The church is a great beneficiary of their graces.
