Sharing art

Br. Ephrem is in Raceland, LA, for a family visit and to get some of the Mardi Gras action (which occurs the weekend before Mardi Gras in Raceland).

This week, the snowdrops decided they were ready to make their appearance, snow or no snow.

On their sabbath day, Bros. Aidan and Bernard visited Aidan's mother, Stephanie Owen, in Kingston. The occasion was Aidan's aunt Dawn's visit, from Atlanta, GA. They were treated to an artfully cooked Southern meal. One could taste the love.

From top left, clockwise: Br. Aidan and his aunt, Dawn Dickinson preparing a Southern meal; the snowdrops making a show in the gardens (two pictures).

Thanks to our art gallery curator, Br. Robert Leo, our friend Hildegard Pleva' beautiful needlecraft was hung on our walls this week Hildegard lives in nearby Ulster Park and frequently worships with us. She also participates in one of our Spiritual Directors Peer Supervision groups.

Some of Hildegard's needle art. Shawls and quilts hanging in our art gallery for a few weeks.

Hildegard's featured works are on sale. You can find more of her work on her Needles In Hand shop on Etsy.
